Fireworks at Odaiba, Tokyo

I tried some Digital Photography of Fireworks using my Nikon D80, it was definitely a great night for fireworks photo. A good opportunity to learn how to take pictures of fireworks. These are some of my favorite shots.

I used a zoom lens just to make sure I get in tight and capture just the fireworks themselves. Well, I missed the best place for shooting as we arrived a bit late. These photos taken by using full manual mode, aperture f/11, bulb mode, and of course, on a tripod. Enjoy it.

Excellent photos. The edges are soft and delicate, like flowers in bloom. Fantastic work.

Those are some great photos.

Just out of interest, how long (ish) were you leaving the shutter open?

xD.
